The project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Ireland Wales Programme (INTERREG 4A). The Rising Tide Project aims to promote maritime identity, history and opportunity across and between Wales and Ireland.At the heart of the Rising Tide ethos is the support of social inclusion through a planned programme of training and personal development.
Pembrokeshire College’s internationally renowned MITEC centre will deliver accredited training programmes, engaging young people who are not in employment, education or training.
Open to males and females, the free 10 week programmes will allow students to progress onto further training, education or employment.
There will be 6 teams running between 2010 and 2012. There will be 6 places available per team.
